Attorney Virginia Dante Perry
Virginia Perry is a magna cum laude graduate of James Madison University. She received her Juris Doctor degree in 1977 from the prestigious Marshall-Wythe School of Law at the College of William and Mary. Upon completing her law studies, she chose to "hang out a shingle" or enter the private practice of law independently. She has been engaged in the general practice of law for 30 years. Before moving to her current office location, she was an Assistant Public Defender for the City of Petersburg, where she handled criminal cases part time while maintaining her own private law practice and office. For several years she hosted a radio talk show on WDYL-FM where listeners could call and ask legal questions.

In addition to her law practice, Virginia Perry was appointed as and served for many years as a Hearing Officer for the Commonwealth of Virginia by the Virginia Supreme Court. She has served as a guardian ad litem for children on an ad hoc basis as appointed by the courts. She has also served on Boards of Directors of Southside Legal Services and the Christian Chamber of Commerce, and has been an officer of the Colonial Heights Bar Association. She is a life member of the National Registry of Who's Who. She is an elder in her church, and home schooled her daughter, who now attends law school. She brings a wealth of experience to her law practice. Attorney Perry has written a series of articles entitled "Costly Errors in Multi-State Military Divorce; Or a Military Wife's Tale of Woe," (Parts One and Two) which have been accepted for publication in the Fall 2007 and Winter 2008 issues of the Virginia State Bar's Family Law News. In addition to the articles appearing on this web site, she has written numerous brochures and pamphlets on the law and law related subjects for the education of clients and others.

She is a member of the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys, Virginia State Bar and Virginia Trial Lawyers Association.

Attorney William B. Bray
January 1, 2006, William B. Bray, left the firm to assume his responsibilities as Commonwealth's Attorney for the City of Colonial Heights, Virginia, a full time prosecutorial position.

Legal Assistant Jannis A.H. Chambliss
Jannis A.H. Chambliss has a degree in politics from James Madison University and a certificate in paralegal studies. She manages the office and provides oversight for the staff.
